Whats Fishing Now?
Feb. 10th 2008

What a great Steelhead season! The Klamath river fished great everyday. Check out the pics at left to see some Klamath river highlights. We found some great winter fish this year. In the fall the river produced a majority of small steelhead and trout mixed with a few adults. This winter the river flipped and we started catching a majority of adult Steelhead mixed with a few trout and half pounders. Everyone knows how well the Trinity fished. It seems we saw everyone out there at least once. Thanks everyone for coming out. I had a great time fishing with all of you. Right now I am visiting family and friends in Colorado. Mostly skiing but I hope to find a few fish as well. Its a little break but I will be back at it soon.

Whats Fishing Next?
We will have good fishing on the Upper and Lower Sacramento Rivers starting in March. Check out some Sac River Rainbows we caught last March and April at left. With cooperation of river flows this good fishing should be the kick off we need for the full opening of the Trout season. I hope to see you out there.

Trout Season starts the last weekend in April. Be ready for that. Until then look to the Sacramento Rivers for success
